A natural when it came to singing & showmanship, Peter Anderson aka 'Little Caesar', backed by his 10-piece group 'The Euterpeans', had gained recognition through wild performances in support of their previously released singles on Spot Records, covers of James Brown & Little Richard hits; 'Love Is A Beautiful Thing' & 'It Ain't What You Do It's The Way How You Do It'.'It Was Love', written by bassist Donny Cross & Anderson, wasn't written about a girl inparticular, but for every girl. A timeless ballad, that provided balance to their performance, has proven to be an iconic song of its genre despite the rarity of the original press on Trail Records.
